The manor house stands as one of the most significant remaining structures from the 18th century in Lefkosia (Nicosia). It underwent restoration by the Department of Antiquities to serve as the Cyprus Ethnological Museum, and in 1988, it was honored with the prestigious 'Europa Nostra' award.

Constructed in 1793 using local bloc-cut sandstone, this two-story building once belonged to Hatzigeorgakis Kornesios, the prominent Dragoman of Cyprus. Tragically, he was executed by the Ottomans in 1809.

The Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia was established in April 1989, and it resides in a complex of three historic buildings that have been meticulously restored and modernized to meet contemporary museological standards. The aim is to offer visitors a welcoming and enjoyable space to explore its rich Collections.

Dedicated to presenting the history of Nicosia, the last divided capital of Europe, the Museum takes visitors on a journey through time, covering the city's past from prehistoric ages to the present day. Its exceptional Collections, comprising over 10,000 objects such as maps, documents, paintings, engravings, and costumes, eloquently narrate the story of Nicosia.

In the picturesque village of Spilia stands the museum dedicated to shoemaker Christos Chrysanthou, lovingly established in 2007 by Andreas Chrysanthou to honor his father's legacy. Christos, a multi-talented individual, lived an impressive 101 years and spent his life as a skilled shoemaker among other pursuits.

The Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre (NiMAC) is situated within the Old Powerhouse (power station), an exemplary model of industrial architecture that received the prestigious 'Europa Nostra' award in 1994 after its restoration.

At its core, NiMAC aims to promote fine arts in Cyprus, making it the oldest and most significant establishment of its kind on the island.

Situated in the heart of Nicosia's historic center, the Pancyprian Gymnasium Museums offer a captivating experience through their 12 rooms. This remarkable space delves into the rich history of Cyprus' oldest Secondary Education institution, established in 1812. Moreover, the Museums provide insights into various facets of Cypriot history and culture.

The Steni Museum of Village Life pays homage to the residents of Steni who endured the hardships from the town's establishment until the conclusion of the Second World War (1800-1945). Within its premises, visitors can explore depictions of activities like loom weaving and ploughing, along with showcases of various tools, equipment, handicrafts, kitchenware, pots, jars, and traditional clothing used during that period.

Part of the Kato Paphos Archaeological Park, the renowned 'Tombs of the Kings' hold significant historical value in Cyprus, being recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980. These imposing subterranean tombs were intricately carved into solid rock, originating from the Hellenistic and Roman eras. Although not actually meant for kings, these burial grounds were primarily reserved for esteemed officials and aristocrats.

The Water Museum comprises the historical Limassol Water Pumping Station, known as the 'Water Machine,' constructed in 1925. Situated next to the Limassol Water Board offices, this Pumping Station is a designated Protected Historic Building on the Cyprus Department of Town Planning and Housing's list. Its primary purpose was to extract substantial amounts of water from the Garyllis Delta aquifer, which was then conveyed through water pipes to the Limassol Water Tower for distribution throughout the town of Lemesos.
